Marion King

Marion was appointed Chair and Trustee of OBL in February 2023. Her focus is on maintaining and protecting the CMA Order, and working with key stakeholders to support the continued adoption and growth of open banking in the UK.

As Chair, she oversees the transition to a Future Entity playing a central role in the move towards an economically sustainable and scalable open banking ecosystem.

Marion holds a portfolio of non-executive roles including Non-Executive Director at Bibby Financial Services, private bank C Hoare & Co and Uber Payments UK Ltd.

She was previously Director of Payments at NatWest Group and President of MasterCard UK & Ireland. Prior to that, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Vocalink, a specialist payments partner to banks, corporate partners and government departments.
